Starting in Palma, there are trips to almost all parts of the island, as well as fishing trips and yachts to laze out at sea on.
They can be hired for virtually any required timescale. The choice is yours. If you want to experience a boat trip while enjoying a fantastic holiday in Mallorca you can go on many different types of boats. There are:
- Speedboats
- Catamarans
- Schooners
- Yachts
- Sailing boats
- Cruisers
- Motorboats
- Glass bottomed boats
In fact there are all shapes and sizes and all crewed by experienced staff.
But it is not only Palma that offers this range of boats and trips. In most of the tourist resorts you will find an array of excursions to tempt you. The glass bottomed boats are very popular and mainly operate on the east coast where the waters are crystal clear.
A trip on one of these, if you started from Calas de Mallorca for example, would take in the bays of Cala Ratjada, Cala Millor, Cala Romantica and Sa Coma, giving you plenty of opportunity to explore the shops and beaches of these different resorts.
From Santa Ponsa you can enjoy a 5 hour round trip exploring the south coast of the island. The catamarans that sail from here are three tiered, one of them being the lower level with submarine vision. The boats sail around the Dragonera Island, which is a nature reserve occupied mainly by lizards and seabirds.
“Whether bobbing gently on the waves, or speeding along on a Jet ski, the island of Mallorca caters for everyone”
From several different ports you can have the pleasure of a sunset cruise; some even set sail at midnight. Party cruises are available, but if you’d prefer something gentler there are always sailing boats ready to take you out.
Mallorca is said to be a boating paradise, which explains why, in the summer months particularly, you will see many of them as you travel round the island.
So many of the bays and coves are only accessible by boat, that when you reach one of them you will often find a deserted beach just for you and the other passengers to enjoy.
From Port Alcudia you can enjoy a leisurely 8 hour trip around part of the coast. These are slow relaxing cruises that allow time for swimming and snorkeling, and even provide the equipment if you want to have a go at fishing. Trips of this duration, no matter where they are from or to, normally provide you with a buffet lunch and drinks.
At less than 50 euros for adults, and only 30 euros for children from 3-12, boat trips like this are an inexpensive way for the whole family to enjoy themselves for a whole day.
If what you are after is an action packed day, an ideal one for all the family could include a cruise, jet skiing, banana boating, water skiing, and lunch with drinks. Days like this are perfectly safe for children as well; with all the staff being experienced at teaching all ages and making sure it is a fun day out for all.
When you rent you luxury property from Balearic Villas, days on the seas around Mallorca are just one of the options for you and your family or friends to enjoy.
