As far back as 1888 a British traveller in the Puerto Soller area waxed lyrical: “Nothing could be more beautiful than the views of the sea and the land. The island rounded in a succession of curves and bays. One headland after another opened up magnificently.” So more than one hundred years later, it’s little wonder that the magnificent ridge of mountains that stretches the length of Mallorca’s northwest shoreline attracts walkers worldwide.
